State Representative Award

Member for Penrith Stuart Ayres MP congratulated and presented Sasha Duetoft with a NSW Government State Representative Award at Glenbrook Primary School today.

Sasha represented NSW in the Australian All Stars Cheerleading Federation 2012 National Championships in the field of “hip hop”.

Sasha was nominated for this prestigious award by Glenbrook Primary School. Now in year 7 at Blaxland High School he started hip hop at 8 years of age with You Can Dance Studio at Emu Plains and quickly developed a passion for the sport.

“Sasha’s commitment to his sport is evident in earning this award. The determination and effort he has given serves as an example and inspiration to others.” said Mr Ayres.

The NSW Government State Representative Award recognises people who have represented the State of NSW in a competitive field.

Nominees of any age, who have represented NSW in a competitive field (eg. sport, music, the arts or academic), either nationally or internationally, may be nominated for the Award.
