Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith invites eligible local small businesses to apply for a grant through NSW Government’s $5 million Community and Small Business CCTV Fund to help safeguard against would-be crooks in the community.
The fund is supporting the purchase and installation of CCTV across ten Local Government Areas in Western and South Western Sydney including Penrith.
Stuart Ayres said preventing and reducing crime is a priority with this program protecting businesses and assisting our police to catch and prosecute offenders.
“Having CCTV cameras installed is about enhancing public safety and is a deterrent for would be criminals.”
The CCTV funding has been allocated over four years and provides up to $5,000 toward the cost and installation of cameras.
The program is open for not-for-profit community organisations and small businesses with a turnover of less than $2 million.
