Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith welcomes the news that works are underway to construct Penrith’s new City Park.
City Park at the corner of Henry and Station Streets will deliver 7,000sqm of green open space including themed gardens, tree canopy, water features and seating.
Stuart Ayres said Penrith’s new City Park, with funding support through the NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program is about creating wonderful public amenity and shared open space.
“As Penrith continues to grow this makes sure we have a fantastic green space right here in the CBD for people who live and work in Penrith.
“Converting this site into a beautiful central city park will provide people with a great space gather outdoors and is a fine example of the NSW State Government and Council working together to deliver for the people of Penrith.”
