Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith today met and congratulated the recipients of the Penrith 2014 NSW Seniors Week Local Achievement Award.
“These Awards are the community’s way of saying ‘thank you’ to seniors for their enthusiasm and impressive commitment to their community,” said Minister for Ageing John Ajaka.
“It is wonderful to see so many recognised during 2014 NSW Seniors Week.”
Seniors deserve recognition for the important contribution they make across so many different areas of community life.

The NSW Seniors Week Local Achievement Awards marks just one of the exciting programs of events held for 2014 NSW Seniors Week.
An estimated 250,000 seniors are expected to attend more than 900 local events throughout the state during the week.
The activities support the objectives of the NSW Ageing Strategy, which was launched to support the health and wellbeing of seniors.
