Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith, welcomes the announcement that obtaining an Opal card has been made even easier with a pop-up kiosk now available at Westfield Penrith Plaza.
“I encourage people to pop by the kiosk and have a chat with an Opal staff member to find out how easy it is to obtain and use an Opal card,” said Stuart Ayres.
The Opal kiosk is located between the escalators and the travelator ramp on the ground floor at the Western end of Westfield Penrith Plaza.
During August and September, the kiosk will be operating during the centre’s opening times:
Thursday 9.00am to 8.00pm
Friday and Saturday 9.00am to 5.00pm
Sunday 10.00am to 5.00pm
Opal can now be used on all suburban and intercity trains, all Sydney Ferries and more than 2,300 buses. Opal will be available on 5,000 buses by the end of the year, with light rail to follow in early 2015.
Opal retail stores can be found via an easy-to-use map at www.retailers.opal.com.au, registered Adult or Child/Youth Opal cards can also be ordered from opal.com.au or by calling 13 67 25 (13 OPAL).
