NSW Premier and Minister for Western Sydney Barry O’Farrell has announced the return of Cabinet to Western Sydney for a Community Cabinet meeting.
Mr O’Farrell said it was a sign of the NSW Government’s commitment that the Cabinet will visit the region for the 2nd time in less than 6 months.
“Western Sydney hosted the Government’s first Community Cabinet meeting in Macarthur in May and we are returning in September to hear from the Greater West,” Mr O’Farrell said.
\”Western Sydney put its faith in a NSW Liberals & Nationals Government and we are determined to reverse the neglect built up over 16 years of Labor.
\”On September 19, my team and I will be taking questions at a public forum at St Marys and Ministers will hold pre-arranged meetings with community groups and stakeholder organisations.
“We will also be joined by our local members Roza Sage (Blue Mountains), Bart Basset (Londonderry), Tanya Davies (Mulgoa), Stuart Ayres (Penrith) and Andrew Rohan (Smithfield).
“This is an opportunity for the people of Greater Western Sydney to meet and ask questions of the Ministers who run their schools, hospitals and roads.
“I hope residents and business owners take this opportunity to talk to us abouttheir priorities for the region and how my government can assist Western Sydney reach its potential.
\”My Cabinet and I will listen closely to your questions and messages to ensure we deliverthe support, services and infrastructure you expect,\” Mr O’Farrell said.
