Nominations Open for Export Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2022 Premier’s NSW Export Awards recognising outstanding success and resilience of exporters across the state.

Minister for Enterprise, Investment and Trade Stuart Ayres said NSW exporters have played a fundamental role in supporting the NSW economy over the past 12 months.

“NSW continues to cement itself as the most successful economy in the nation. Last year alone exports contributed more than $82 billion to the NSW economy,” Mr Ayres said.

“It is vital we continue to support and empower our exporters to grow and thrive internationally.

“This is our chance to recognise these essential businesses, celebrate their achievements and thank them for the important role they have played in strengthening our economic. I strongly encourage all eligible exporters to apply.”

Now in its 60th year, the 2022 Awards will recognise businesses across 13 national categories and 4 NSW categories and are delivered in partnership with the Export Council of Australia (ECA).

Chair of the ECA, Dianne Tipping said the awards were an opportunity to highlight the achievements of companies from a wide variety of sectors who have shown sustainable growth through innovation and commitment.

“These awards provide exporters with a platform for their achievements to be celebrated with their peers, but also more than that they allow businesses to profile and showcase their enduring contribution to the NSW economy,” Ms Tipping said.

Winners of the national award categories will automatically progress as national finalists to the Australian Export Awards.

Nominations will close on 10 June 2022. For more information or to nominate your business please visit the 2022 Premier’s NSW Export Awards website.
