Member for Penrith, Stuart Ayres MP encourages the Penrith community to acknowledge local business women by nominating them for the 2013 Telstra Business Women’s Awards.

Nominations are open for the 19th Telstra Business Women’s Awards. The awards celebrate successful local business women whose inspiration, determination and innovation is worth celebrating

The prestigious Awards program celebrates the successes and entrepreneurial spirit of Australian business women and is now open for the 19th year.

Mr Ayres said: “There are numerous outstanding business women in our local area that are exceptional achievers and well deserving of a nomination in the Telstra Awards.”

“Finalists and winners get to strengthen their local and national profile and increase their network by mixing with successful alumni of the Awards.

“Let’s get behind the business women in the Penrith community who are making a difference to our local and national prosperity,” Mr Ayres said.

Awards are open to business owners, women in the private and corporate sector and the government and community sectors. Other awards recognise business innovation and young business women.

The awards are an opportunity to recognise established and emerging business women whose passion, creativity and achievements inspire other women to reach their own goals.

Benefits for finalists and winners also include increased business profile, networking and mentoring opportunities, and a share in more than $250,000 in cash and prizes.
