Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith joined Nathan Lowe, General Manager, of Kingswood Sports Club to thank the bowlers who put in the work to install new shades around the bowling greens.
$10,000 was provided to the club through the NSW Governments Local Sport Grant Program to go towards this upgrade.
“With our increased awareness of the damage the sun can cause, this shade will provide the bowlers with welcome relief and protection,” said Stuart Ayres
“It was great to meet with the bowlers who dedicated their time to install the new shades at the club”.
“The NSW Government recognises how important sport it is to our communities, for both social and health reasons and remains committed to delivering the best infrastructure to support ongoing participation.”
