Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith today announced the successful application by two local organisations for grants under the NSW Government’s Participation and Facility Grant Program.
“I am pleased to announce that the Penrith Rowing Club Inc. has received a grant of $2025.00 and RichmondPra $7800.00,” said Stuart Ayres.
“These grants provide funding for local initiatives to encourage people to be physically active on a more regular basis by delivering a sporting program or upgrading an existing sporting or recreational facility,” said Stuart Ayres.
Penrith Rowing Cub Inc. will purchase a single skull storage unit at the Penrith Rowing Club and RichmondPra will offer Active Recovery – Fitness & Sports Program for Youth With Serious Mental Illness in Western Sydney .
“The NSW Government is committed to investing in sport and recreation facilities to assist in the long term health and wellbeing for people across the community,” added Stuart Ayres.
