It was a year and a half ago now that Premier Nathan Rees declared Nepean High to be a specialist creative and performing arts school.
The students and staff still don’t have a creative and performing arts centre.
They don’t have any extra funding or extra staff to help them fulfil this role.
I am proud to be part of a NSW Liberals & Nationals team which has committed $3 million towards a new Creative and Performing Arts Centre at the High.
I am committed to fighting for the resources that Nepean High needs to become an outstanding specialist school in this region, and to deliver the quality educational opportunities that young people in Penrith and the lower Mountains need.
