Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith today presented a Community Service Award to Mr Martin Beckett of Christ Mission Possible (CMP) in recognition and appreciation of his contribution to the Penrith community.
“CEO of CMP and Senior Pastor of The Rock Christian Community, Martin goes to extraordinary lengths to help those in need and his larger than life personality offers inspiration to his team at CMP,” said Stuart Ayres.
“Martin’s tireless work to assist the most vulnerable in our community is to be commended and he is well deserving of this prestigious award,” said Stuart Ayres.
CMP, located here in Kingwood is a charity that provides food and accommodation solutions. Each week they support over 7,000 people with essential food, provide over 1,500 meals on the streets or through school programs every week and every year they provide crisis temporary accommodation to over 1,200 young people, single adult men and women, women with children & families.
“The Community Service Award is a way for the NSW Government to acknowledge the inspiring quality of members within our community for their service and achievements,” added Stuart Ayres.
