A NSW Liberals & Nationals Government will deliver the long awaited car park expansion to Nepean Hospital, Shadow Minister for Health Jillian Skinner and Liberal Member for Penrith Stuart Ayres said today.
A total of $10 million will be allocated towards the expansion of car parking facilities at Nepean Hospital if an O’Farrell Government is elected.
\”Hardworking staff at Nepean Hospital have been crying out for better car parking facilities for years,\” Mrs Skinner said.
\”This is great news for local doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and of course patients,\” she said.
\”Staff have been having difficulty finding parking, and that makes it harder to attract and retain the medical workers Nepean Hospital needs.
\”If we don’t take care of our hospital staff, it makes it hard for them to take care of patients.
\”Nepean Hospital has a strong advocate in Stuart Ayres who has been tirelessly advocating on behalf of his health workers.\”
Liberal Member for Penrith Stuart Ayres said he was pleased to have secured the funding for the car parking expansion.
\”I fought hard to secure this funding, and I’m happy to say an O’Farrell Government will deliver,\” he said.
\”I want to deliver Nepean Hospital its fair share of resources.
\”Our doctors, nurses and allied health professionals deserve to have safe and accessible parking – they’ll get that from a NSW Liberals & Nationals Government.
\”Our election promises are focused, affordable and achievable. You can read more about our policies here, including a commitment to employ an extra 2,475 nurses and upen 1,390 beds.
\”Only a NSW Liberals & Nationals Government can make NSW number one again,\” Mr Ayres said.
