2014 Nsw Seniors Week Local Achievement Awards – Nominations Now Open

Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith, encourages the Penrith community to submit a nomination for the 2014 NSW Seniors Week Local Achievement awards.


In 2014, NSW Seniors Week is introducing a Local Achievement Awards program for seniors to allow the local community to recognise the seniors in their area that contribute to making their community an invigorating, inspiring, active and healthy place to live.


“Seniors make an important contribution to our community and these awards are one way in which we can show our appreciation for the talents, skills and generosity of this impressive group,” said Stuart Ayres.


“We are calling on people to nominate seniors who make a difference to their local community.


The 2014 awards will celebrate seniors for their achievements in various categories.


Stuart Ayres said that he is keen to celebrate the vital and important role seniors play within our community.


Nominations for the 2014 NSW Seniors Week Local Achievement Awards are now open and close on Friday 28th February 2014.


The awards will be presented to celebrate 2014 NSW Seniors Week which is being held between 15 March-23 March 2014.
