Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith has helped to make sure that Penrith is ready for the Seniors Week 2014 celebrations in awarding local funding as part of the NSW Seniors Week Grants program.
“Seniors play a significant role in our society and they deserve to be celebrated,” said Stuart Ayres.
“I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the recipients of the grants for 2014 NSW Seniors week.
Recipients of the grants in Penrith are:
Penrith Women’s Health Centre – Rocking Through the 50s;
- YMCA Penrith – YMCA Seniors Week Celebrations and
- Penrith City Council – Live Life.
“These organisations will each receive a grant of $1,000 to use towards their Seniors Week preparations and programs.
“The success of NSW Seniors week relies on involvement from organisations such as these and they are commended on their ongoing commitment to seniors in the Penrith area,” added Stuart Ayres.
